Wheat Street Church Federal
Credit Union
-- founded in 1956 under the administration
of the late Rev. DR. William Holmes Borders, Sr. The WSCFCU is
one of the Nation's oldest Church Credit Unions. The credit
union was formed to promote thrift and create a source of credit
for its members by pooling members' savings to provide low cost
loans for productive purposes. Membership eligibility --
member of Wheat Street Baptist Church or immediate family of a
member of the church; resident of Wheat Street Towers or Gardens;
be employed in one of the the two shopping complexes owned by
the church; be an employee of a member of the credit union who
owns a business; or a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Madison,
GA. Hours of Operation are: 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. on Mondays,
Thursdays, and Fridays except the first week in the month
when the Credit Union is opened Monday - Friday from 9:00 a.m.
