Wheat Street Village  - arose out of the concept that "it takes a village to raise a child". Our area of concentration is the John Hope Catchment area. The Wheat Street Village falls under the auspices of the Community Concerns Committee. It hosts a GED program and  weekly English as Second Language (ESL) classes.
